Our Sustainability Promise

Our purpose as a brand is to bring you sustainable swimwear of the highest quality because fashion shouldn’t cost the Earth.

Our commitment to sustainability includes using Econyl recycled fabrics made from discarded ocean waste, such as fishing nets, and using eco-friendly packaging that is plastic-free wherever possible.

Our fabric is also certified OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, meaning it has been tested for and proven free from harmful substances to humans, making it safe to wear.

We are a London-based brand and conscious of our carbon footprint, which is why we chose to partner with an ethical, UK-based factory that shares our commitment to sustainability.

This is just the beginning, and the bare minimum when it comes to sustainability. We promise to always strive to be better and do better.

Our Fabric

Our swimwear is crafted from a premium blend of 78% Recycled Polyamide and 22% Elastane, recycled from discarded ocean waste including fishing nets, and old carpets.

Designed to last, the fabric is resistant to UV rays, chlorine, sun cream, oil, and pilling. With excellent shape retention and a super-soft feel, it offers both comfort and the perfect fit.

Our Packaging

We’re committed to reducing waste at every stage. Our shipping boxes, acid-free tissue paper, and swing tags are all 100% recyclable, while our shipping tape and Leah Loves stickers are plastic-free and compostable.

We believe in full transparency: the only plastic you’ll find in our packaging is the small security tab that attaches our tags to the bikinis. This tab ensures that worn products cannot be returned, helping us prevent wasted stock and unsellable items... a small but important step towards making fashion more sustainable.

Our CO2 Emissions

At Leah Loves, we are committed to keeping our carbon footprint as low as possible. By manufacturing locally in London, where we are based, we significantly reduce the need for long-distance shipping and air transport.

We also carefully source all of our fabrics, packaging, and production partners from UK-based suppliers. This not only lowers emissions but also supports small businesses and strengthens the local economy, which is something we’re proud to be part of.
